How counting works
Business days are Monday to Friday. With the default settings the start date is not counted and the end date is, which answers "how many working days until the deadline". Listed holidays are skipped only when they fall on a counted weekday inside the range. Duplicate holiday lines are ignored.

How month math works
Years and months move the calendar position first, clamping to the last day of the target month when needed (Jan 31 plus 1 month lands on Feb 28, or Feb 29 in a leap year). Weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds are then applied as exact elapsed time.
